His most impressive work includes his innovations in water treatment technology, including proprietary and patented systems that have transformed the mobile water treatment industry.
James DiCarlo
DiCarlo has had two careers that both provide experience for his role in Hydros Agritech, Inc. For over 20 years, he co-founded and built DiCarlo’s Fine Foods ,one of the largest wholesale distributors of domestic and imported fine foods in the northeast. DiCarlo performed almost every job in the firm from delivery to Operations Manager. He has experience with customer groups from small retailers to fine dining establishments and additional institutional buyers.
After leaving DiCarlo Foods, he founded and operated a firm in the renewable energy space, Nextek Power Systems. This firm developed unique highly efficient “direct coupling” technology for solar installations and under his management, it was deployed in retailers such as Lunardi’s Fine Foods, Target and Whole Foods.

Passionate about renewable energy, McLafferty’s career has focused on pioneering programs and developing legislation to help drive energy efficiency. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning and was awarded an MBA in management from Pepperdine University. McLafferty brings with him more than 30 years of private and public sector relations, serving on and collaborating with state, regional and federal agencies.

Tad Bell
Bell brings with him more than 26 years of crisis management skill planning for both the public and private sector. Bell holds abachelor’s degree in plant biology and worked with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) for more than 18 years.
